(L.A.) Lauro Sosa, 58, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Lauro Sosa.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP LAURO SOSA (September 26, 1966 – April 11, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
