Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ricardo Sanchez Delgado, resident of the San Gabriel Valley.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Blunt-Force Head Trauma

RIP RICARDO SANCHEZ DELGADO (March 23, 1990 – April 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:09 p.m.

The decedent was beaten during a fight on March 26 in the area of West Holt Avenue and Short Street in Pomona. He succumbed to his injuries a week and a half later.

A 41-year-old man named Oliver Jacobs Jr. has been charged with murder in connection with this incident.
