(L.A.) Johnathan Lozano, 27, Died in Walnut Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Johnathan Lozano.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP JOHNATHAN LOZANO (December 15, 1997 – March 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:52 p.m.

The decedent was allegedly an armed robbery suspect. He was shot to death by police in Walnut Park.

WP is a census-designated place in L.A. County, adjacent to Florence-Graham, Huntington Park and South Gate.

* Note that the government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s forename as Jonathan.
