Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in prison.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Evans.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:52 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 15. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
