(L.A.) Bruce Ritter, 62, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bruce Ritter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP BRUCE RITTER (March 23, 1962 – March 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:33 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
