(L.A.) Maria Camacho Rodriguez, 36, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Maria Camacho Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Infective Endocarditis and Acute Pneumonia

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Fentanyl, Heroin and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:42 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
