(L.A.) Samuel Sandoval Lopez, 23, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Samuel Sandoval Lopez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:51 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
