(L.A.) Arturo Gonzalez, 52, Died in Monrovia

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Arturo Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Sharp-Force Injuries

RIP ARTURO AYON GONZALEZ (September 3, 1972 – February 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:52 p.m.

The decedent was stabbed to death by his 29-year-old son Arturo Gonzalez Jr.

Monrovia police responded to an apartment in the 100 block of West Olive Avenue after getting a call of someone screaming.

The son was homeless.
