(L.A.) Landon Bennett, 56, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Landon Bennett.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Myeloma
Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:16 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
There was a woman who died in February 2023 who was also suffering from multiple myeloma and was taking meth.
