(L.A.) Deborah Stephens Browder, 63, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Deborah Stephens Browder.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity

RIP DEBORAH STEPHENS BROWDER (July 24, 1961 – February 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:22 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
