(L.A.) Luke Reynolds, 32, Died From a Neck Shot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luke Reynolds.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Neck
RIP LUKE REYNOLDS (June 14, 1992 – February 15, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:56 a.m.
The decedent was shot in front of a bar in the 11100 block of Magnolia Boulevard, near Lankershim Boulevard.
LAPD said the suspect is a 46-year-old gang member named Carlos Meza. He was arrested Sunday afternoon. He is being held without bail.
A bystander’s video from the scene appeared to show Reynolds squaring off with two men dressed in dark clothing near cars parked along the street. Reynolds landed a punch before he was taken to the ground by the second man and the fight continued. The video did not capture the shooting.
After Reynolds was shot, the other two men fled the scene in a vehicle.
