Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Angel Chaidez.

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:29 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
