Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Roman Rendon Venegas.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:11 p.m.
Foreign material unintentionally entered the lungs of the decedent.
Intestinal malrotation is a congenital condition where the intestines do not rotate and settle into the correct position within the abdomen during fetal development.
Hypothetically, the malrotation could cause vomiting and thus accidentally the entry of gastric contents into the lungs.
