Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black male that occurred at a gas station.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tory Swan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP TORY SWAN (February 15, 1973 – February 3, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:57 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
