(L.A.) Daniel Vartabedian, 65, Died From an OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Vartabedian.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Tektigia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Morphine, Codeine, and Oxycodone Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:33 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
