(L.A.) Sona Arakelyan, 39, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sona Arakelyan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP SONA ARAKELYAN (January 4, 1986 – January 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:07 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
