Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Maquesta Breedlove.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Cocaine and Phencyclidine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:16 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
