(L.A.) Mitchell Kagan, 29, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mitchell Kagan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP MITCHELL KAGAN (September 23, 1995 – January 8, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:04 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late Aprilm presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
