(L.A.) Phil Hill, 65, Died From Abusing Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Phil Hill.

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP PHIL HILL (April 23, 1959 – January 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
