(L.A.) Damon Bluthenthal, 50, Died in December

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Black male that occurred at the waste grounds south of a Metro Blue parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Damon Bluthenthal.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Suffocation by Plastic Bag

Other Significant Conditions: Multiple Sharp-Force Injuries; Combined Effects of Hydrocodone and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:05 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in mid-March the following year.
