(L.A.) Gabriel Quiroz Sanchez, 29, Died in a Rear Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred at a rear alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gabriel Quiroz Sanchez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP GABRIEL QUIROZ SANCHEZ (March 19, 1995 – December 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
