(L.A.) Johnny Moreno, 45, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Johnny Moreno.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Lidocaine

RIP JOHNNY MORENO (October 17, 1979 – December 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:04 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
