(L.A.) Jeremiah Lopez, 43, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeremiah Lopez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Alcohol, Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JEREMIAH LOPEZ (June 27, 1981 – December 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:39 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
