(L.A.) Jaren Liljenquist, 26, Died in a Motel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jaren Liljenquist.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Paroxetine and Chlorcyclizine

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History That Includes Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Asperger’s Syndrome, and Substance Abuse

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:16 a.m.

Chlorcyclizine, an antihistamine often used to treat allergies and nausea, has been associated with misuse and abuse among younger people.

Paroxetine, commonly known by the brand name Paxil, is an antidepressant.

The decedent was an admitted drug addict. His older brother Ryan Paul died on April 3, 2021.

In 2019, Jaren Kesler Liljenquist was arrested in Utah for having unprotected sex with a 14-year-girl and her two underage friends. After his arrest, he admitted to being positive for Hepatitis C, of having sex three times with the girl knowing she was only 14, and that on several occasions, he had given that girl meth, which she indeed tested positive for. He was charged with four third-degree felony counts of unlawful sexual activity of a minor, one count second-degree felony drug distribution, two counts third-degree felony drug possession and exposing a child to a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of drug possession and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Before that, Lilenquist had already been convicted of assault, drug possession, threat / use of a dangerous weapon in a fight, and domestic violence.
