(L.A.) Jose Ramirez, 40, Died From Overdosing on Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:23 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
