(L.A.) Oscar Citalan-Velasquez, 29, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Oscar Citalan-Velasquez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Toxic Effects of Ethanol, Fentanyl, Ketamine, and Methamphetamine

RIP OSCAR CITALAN-VELASQUEZ (October 22, 1995 – November 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:50 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
