(L.A.) Randy Ramirez, 65, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Randy Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine, History of Hypothyroidism and Chronic Tobacco Use

RIP RANDY RAMIREZ (January 4, 1959 – November 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:49 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
