Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 7:58 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent was found lifeless in the living area of the Men’s Central Jail in downtown LA — 441 Bauchet Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

He had been arrested by LAPD’s 77th Street Division on June 5, on a felony charge.

This is LASD’s 25th in-custody death for the year.
