Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Melissa Brown.

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:24 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
