(L.A.) Tina Viramontes, 43, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Tina Viramontes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Effects of Oxycodone

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:32 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s surname as Thomas.
