Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Kellie Hawkins.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Multiorgan Failure

Cause of Death B: Methamphetamine and Fentanyl Effects

Other Significant Conditions: Opiate Effects; Chronic Alcohol Use; Epilepsy; Asthma

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
