(L.A.) Javon Mack, 39, Died From a Fentanyl OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javon Mack.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP JAVON MACK (June 27, 1985 – September 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:42 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
