(L.A.) Vitan Arevalo, 55, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Vitan Arevalo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP VITAN AREVALO (November 14, 1968 – September 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:37 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
