Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Choie.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:50 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
