(L.A.) Adwale Oyedokun, 29, Died on the Pomona Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black male that occurred on the Pomona Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Adwale Oyedokun.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:57 p.m.

The decedent’s name appears to be Nigerian. He was fatally hit by a vehicle on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Montebello.

California Highway Patrol said the incident was reported at 10:38 p.m. near the Garfield Avenue off-ramp.
