Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old female that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Janet Ruiz and listed her race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Hispanic.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
