(L.A.) Wilbert Tisdale Jr., 66, Died From Drug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Wilbert Tisdale Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Cocaine Toxicity

RIP WILBERT TISDALE JR. (February 21, 1958 – September 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:12 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 29, after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
