RIP ANNA NAVARRO (July 16, 1972 – August 24, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:49 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 4.
Amphetamine use has been associated with an increased risk of intracerebral hemorrhagic stroke. The mechanism involves acute hypertensive surges, cerebral vasculitis, and exacerbation of underlying vascular abnormalities. Studies have shown that methamphetamine use is linked to approximately a five-fold increased risk of hemorrhagic stroke, which is twice the risk from cocaine or tobacco use.
