(L.A.) Raul Barreto, 44, Died From Overdosing on Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raul Barreto.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP RAUL BARRETO (October 23, 1979 – August 15, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 7:03 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
