(L.A.) Michael Estrada Jr. Died From Polydrug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Latino male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Michael Estrada Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine, Tramadol, and Morphine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Hypertrophic Heart Disease

RIP MICHAEL ESTRADA JR. (October 13, 1980 – August 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:59 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
