(L.A.) Matthew Riggs, 41, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Riggs.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, Morphine, Oxycodone, Oxymorphone and Lorazepam

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

RIP MATTHEW RIGGS (August 8, 1983 – August 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:05 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
