(L.A.) Damon McDaniel, 60, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Damon McDaniel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Phencyclidine, Methamphetamine, and Amphetamine

RIP DAMON MCDANIEL (June 7, 1964 – August 21, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
