(L.A.) Gerson Cano De La Cruz, 30, Died at a Car Wash

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred at a car wash.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gerson Cano De La Cruz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Chlordiazepoxide, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol

RIP GERSON CANO DE LA CRUZ (December 15, 1993 – August 21, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Daniel De La Cruz.
