(L.A.) Christopher Martinez Chavez, 27, Died From Polydrug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Martinez Chavez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP CHRISTOPHER MARTINEZ CHAVEZ (November 13, 1996 – August 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:36 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
