(L.A.) Harold Walker, 65, Died From Overdosing on Coke

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Harold Walker.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease
Other Significant Condition: Cocaine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:33 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose. He either suffered a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest because of the coke.
