Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Chris Benavides.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:50 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
