(L.A.) Jose Del Refugio Saldana Sandoval, 53, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Del Refugio Saldana Sandoval.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:02 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The decedent was born on the Fourth of July and passed away just a few days after his birthday.
