(L.A.) Bryan Casey, 39, Died From Drug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bryan Casey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Asthma, Gallstones, and Depression

RIP BRYAN CASEY (September 21, 1984 – July 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:55 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
