(L.A.) Vance Davis, 73, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Vance Davis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

RIP VANCE DAVIS (January 17, 1951 – July 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
