(L.A.) Rogelio Anaya, 46, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rogelio Anaya.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

RIP ROGELIO ANAYA (October 31, 1977 – June 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 30, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

Note that the government investigator had initially given the decedent’s as Rogelia before later correcting it.
